My 1st Concert was "KISS" & "Montrose" way back in 1976.

I started shooting shows in the early 80's. During the late 80's, I kinda lost my way, (most of it is just a blur...) When I moved to Reno in '93, I got my shit together and started shooting concerts again in 2004. Now I try to go to as many concerts that I can. I try to get the best seats possible, Mostly from fan club pre-sales. I average 5th row or better. (I'm very lucky) And thanks to Jason Kellner of the Reno Gazette/Journal for giving me my first "PHOTO-PASS" (thanks buddy). I have had many photo's published (1 photo twice) in the "Reno Gazette/Journal", (rgj.com) "gotorenotahoe.com" (BestBets), (thank's, Dorraine & Jason) Those photo's are in "Published Photo's", And I've had some put up on web-sites, "105.7 Kozz reno's classic rock" (kozzradio.com) and "Rock 104.5 reno's pure rock"( kdot.com). (thanks, Max) I have met many concert goers over the years, I'd like to mention one in particular, My friend Nick McCabe (frontrowphoto.smugmug.com) for taking my bio photo at a Journey/Heart concert (thanks, nick)

I use a CANNON EOS 40D and a CANNON EOS Rebel XT w/ a Sigma 18-50mm 1:23 EX MACRO lens and a Sigma 18-200 1:3.5-6.3 lens and also a Cannon 75-300 1:4-5.8 lens if I'm not so close.

In case I can't get either of my 2 main cameras in, I also use a CANNON Power Shot SX110is as Plan B.
But 95% of the time I have no problem. (RENO ROCKS)
